On this tour will discover firsthand a country renowned for its natural beauty and exotic flora. As the second-largest flower exporter in the world and home to an astonishing array of exotic species, Colombia’s landscapes are a true wonder to behold, we’ll start our journey heading to Santa Elena, a charming little town just outside of Medellín.

As we take you on a journey to the heart of Colombia’s flower culture, visiting a local farming family of generations, to hear the inspiring stories of our dedicated flower farmers and their passion for their craft, handed down through generations of silleteros who have preserved the rich cultural heritage of this iconic tradition.

Start Time

9:00am - Hotel pick up

We'll start our tour driving +40 minutes to the outskirts of the City, heading to the eastside of the Andes mountains towards a little town called Santa Elena.

We'll have a short walk around the park admiring the local culture and a unique sculpture right at the entrance dedicated to our Flower Farmers and our Silletero heritage.

Flower Farm

A typical small family flower farm, filled with flowers of all shape, sizes and colors, right in there in the open field, no inside doors, just existing in the perfect conditions of Colombia, we'll also learn the family's history and heritage, 5 generations participating in the Flower Festival.

Cablecar ride

To give a plus to our tour, we'll take a cablecar ride +30 minutes at the Arvi Park through a gorgeous and enormous rainforest up to the highest point of Medellín over 6000 feet high, blown away by the natural beauty and the eternal spring city.
