The Andes Adventure wants to bring you the happiness of Colombians, which is why we’ve handled all of your travel details, so you can experience this fascinating region and remain happy throughout your vacation. On this 4-day vacation package, we’ve arranged your hotel accommodations, daily breakfast and lunches, private airport transfers to/from your intra-vacation accommodations, and sightseeing.

Besides all of this, we´ll present you with materials to familiarize you with each place, and help ensure your vacation runs smoothly by answering questions at any time, arranging optional excursions, and offering suggestions for restaurants, shops and more.

DAY 1

Arrive in Medellín, Colombia. Airport Pick up. Your hotel is available for afternoon check-in.

DAY 2

Private City tour around Medellín, visits to the main highlights starting at a colorful LOCAL MARKET, where we will taste some exotic Colombian fruits and be amazed by the local culture. Continue to COMUNA 13, essence of Medellín´s transformation, we´ll visit the ELECTRIC ESCALATORS, GRAFFITI ROUTE and have expansive views of the “barrios” and its narrow streets from San Javier´s CABLE CAR. Next, visit PLAZA BOTERO to see Fernando Botero´s most famous sculptures, also visit ANTIOQUIA MUSEUM that houses a unique collection of Botero´s work. PUEBLITO PAISA would be our next stop, a replica of Paisa´s quaint villages of the region, beautiful and colorful. Have an amazing typical lunch at one of the best restaurants of the city and then head to SANTA ELENA town to spend the night at a little wooden cabin hidden in the forest.

DAY 3

Choose between a Horseback ride through the cloud forest and incredible landscapes or visit traditional flower farm at the countryside and learn about the history of our flower festival and immersed yourself in a world of colors or Hike through old paths, rivers and jungles at the Arvi park. Beside these tours we will take a cable car ride through the cloud forest to a breathtaking view of Medellín city, have a typical lunch in a traditional restaurant cooked on wood and finish our day at El Retiro town, unique village with carved wooden doors, balconies and an amazing plaza full of life, spend the night at a fabulous glamping surrounded by lush nature and captivating scenery.

EL RETIRO & GUATAPÉ

DAY 4

Visit the most colorful town of Colombia, GUATAPÉ, first stop, magical WATERFALL TEQUENDAMITA hidden in the Andes, a few minutes away from El Retiro. Continue to climb 700 stairs to the peak of the Rock of El Peñol and experience one of the most amazing views on earth. Walk around Guatape town through its colorful streets and houses, visit MARINILLA and El PEÑOL towns, enjoy a great lunch and get ready to head back home, your vacation ends after lunch. Airport drop-off.
